Lecture & workshop with Ulli Vilsmaier
January 28/29, 2025
Every year, the doctoral students of the Leibniz R Institutes organise an event on topics of overarching relevance, with the host role rotating. This year, the organisation team from the IfL and ARL is inviting you to Hannover, to the ARL office.
Our guest this time is adj. Prof. Dr Ulli Vilsmaier – we are already looking forward to the insights into her work and discussions with her and everyone together!
Ulli Vilsmaier is a geographer by training and an internationally experienced expert in inter- and transdisciplinarity. She specialises in the design, monitoring, implementation and evaluation of transdisciplinary research and in the development of methods for transdisciplinary work and integration. She has extensive experience in research and higher education development worldwide and a special interest in the transformation of academic institutions. Her dialogue orientation aims at the personal and professional growth of people and communities while creating spaces for intercultural and inter-institutional learning and transformative research.
Ulli Vilsmaier will give a lecture and explore the topic of transdisciplinarity with you in a workshop. There will also be an open discussion round with scientists from the ARL, a joint dinner and an excursion.
